"Snow Owl" Watercolor Study

Tuesday, January 5th @ 10 AM (est/NY)
Thursday, January 7th @ 7 PM

Welcome to a bright New Year - 2021!

Let's begin this year's painting adventure with a watercolor study of a Snowy Owl perched on a branch of pine.  We'll use a limited palette of primary and earth hues, and practice leaving "white space" to define the main character.  Round, filbert, and liner brushes create the details. The only fussy bits are the eyes and beak, but don't let that scare you!  We'll work through it together step by step.  The actual pattern size is 7.5 in. x 9.5 in. to fit into an 11 in. x 14 in. pre-cut mat and frame, but you're welcome to re-size it to suit your preferences.

Register now for the class of your choice on the STORE page.  Once you've completed the checkout process, you'll be sent a Confirmation Email containing a link back to LaureArt.com where you can download the Class Information File PDF which contains the supplies list, line drawing, large color photo, and the appropriate Zoom classroom passcodes.

Blessings to you in the New Year!  Wishing you many hours of Happy Painting!
