Ahoy, there! Colorful pot buoys are ubiquitous not only to the New England coast, but in lakes and waterways everywhere. Their rustic charm and bright colors make them a popular subject for painters of all mediums. In this project, I've used layers of acrylic paints and texture mediums on a cradled wood panel to create a "fool the eye" still life. The pattern packet will guide you through the process step-by-step as you complete your unique rendering of this fun-to-paint subject.
The original work was done on a cradled wood panel (size 12" x 12"). Acrylic paints and mediums listed in the packet are by DecoArt Americana. This is a traditional pattern packet formatted as a .pdf document which you can download to your computer. It includes a supplies list, pattern template, and complete painting instructions with photos.
Please note: This is a digital product only. No physical goods will be delivered. You will be able to download your "Good Old Buoys" E-packet .pdf immediately upon completion of checkout. Happy painting! 🖤
