I love the month of May. The April rains have given way to warmer days, and nature is aglow with pastel pinks, sunny yellows, and tender greens. We also celebrate Mother's Day this month, and, in honor of my mother Laura, I'm dedicating this lesson to her memory. Let's paint "Laura's Rose" in remembrance of mothers everywhere.
In this month's live online class, we will capture a delicate pink-petaled rose nestled among cool background foliage. We'll study the use of white space, soft and hard edges, and contrast to create a simple, yet elegant, floral motif.
This live online lesson is hosted on Zoom. The 2-hour class includes:
