I love standing by the shore, watching the white gulls dip, splash, and soar against the ever-changing blues of sea and sky. "Take Flight!" captures the energy and movement of nature using loose brushstrokes and transparent watercolors.
Please join me TUESDAY, July 7th, to paint "Take Flight!" - sea gulls in motion. In this lesson, we'll practice using watercolor masking fluid, applying a wet-on-wet seascape background, and shading and glazing white objects to create form. A video recording of the class will be available following the live presentations.
"Take Flight!" will be presented in our Zoom studio. The 2-hour lesson includes:
- The Class Information File (.pdf) (includes the supplies list, Zoom access link for both event times, preparation notes, and resource links)
- a printable .pdf slide deck tutorial with complete step-by-step instructions and links to helpful references
